BLANC Calacatta

CB-tec has always focused on the development and production of alternatives and regenerative heating systems. That is why the company headquarters in Ungerhausen are constantly checking, testing and de signing in this direction. In addition, ceramic materials of the highest processing quality are produced on an area of over 15,000 square meters. HEAzs combines both CB core competencies in a unique way. HEAzs - resource-saving, sustainable and unique in design - an absolute highlight of CB product family and our very personal contribution in the fight against global warming.

We want to set an exclamation mark in terms of sustainability not only with our products, but also with production. Therefore, by 2025, the Ungerhausen site should have a CO 2 neutral energy supply. This goal has now almost been achieved (2022). The heating and cooling of the administration and production is provided by a combined heat and power plant based on a CHP - operated with biogas - a wood chip boiler and a 1000 kW PV system.

Global warming - perhaps the greatest challenge of the future. CO 2 reduction concerns all of us. Electricity - generated from renewable sources e.g. from a own photovoltaic system enables CO 2 neutral heating and this makes an important contribution in the fight against global warming.

HEAzs give off a large part of the heat as beneficial, long-wave radiant heat. This pleasant radiant heat ensures a balanced air temperature, effectively counteracts dust circulation and creates a natural, comfortable indoor climate. Radiant heat invigorates the organism

HEAzs emit a large part of the heat as beneficial, long-wave radiant heat. This pleasant radiant heat ensures a balanced air temperature, effectively counteracts dust circulation and creates a natural, comfortable indoor climate. The radiant heat penetrates - similar to solar radiation - the air, without heating it very strongly, then hits solid matter such as the floor, walls, furnishings, etc. and heats them up. This creates an optimal heat distribution in the room. The air temperature in the horizontal and vertical directions is very balanced. Strong air circulation and dry and dusty air is counteracted - ideal for allergy sufferers. The soothing radiant heat unfolds a particularly soothing effect on our body through the skin, the muscles are relaxed, the entire organism invigorated and well-being increased. In addition, the walls are heated and dried, effectively preventing the formation of mold.

How HEAzs infrared heat works

The HEAzs heating panels emit most of the heat as beneficial, long-wave radiant heat. This pleasant radiant heat ensures a balanced air temperature, effectively counteracts dust circulation, creates a natural feel-good room climate and invigorates the organism.

Radiant heat „gets under the skin“

With an area of 1.5 to 2 square meters, with over four million receptors on it, the human skin is the largest and also one of the most sensitive human organs. It regulates our temperature and moisture balance. A quarter of our blood circulates in the skin and a third of our water supply is stored there. The beneficial radiant heat now unfolds a particularly beneficial effect on our body through the skin. The muscles are relaxed, the entire organism invigorated - people simply feel better.

Radiant heat - a perfect example

When skiing you can feel the effect of the radiant heat very well. The air temperature is cold in winter. However, if you stand in the sun, you feel the temperature many degrees warmer than in the shade. Radiant heat acts here. What is radiant heat, what does it do and why is it so beneficial? The radiant heat of the HEAzs heating panels consists of long-wave infrared radiation. The radiant heat penetrates the air - similar to solar radiation - without heating it very much, then hits solid matter such as the floor, walls, furnishings, etc. and warms them up. The objects and walls heat up and now give off heat again. This creates an optimal heat distribution in the room. The air temperature in the horizontal and vertical directions is very balanced. Strong air circulation and dry and dusty air is counteracted. The outer wall surfaces are heated by radiant heating and thus contribute to the feeling of comfort. Excess humidity from cooling air can no longer condense on the walls because it is tempered - ideal for allergy sufferers.

Basically, a radiator can give off heat in two different ways: as convection heat - i.e. via warm air, as radiant heat or from a mixture of both types of heat.

HEAzs - the hybrid radiant heating

HEAzs emits most of the heat to the installation room via beneficial radiant heat. In addition, the heat is emitted through the unique rear ventilation concept of the HEAzs Back of the panel via gentle convection. The room air flows from below through the hybrid duct on the back of the panel. The heat is thus directed away from the rear wall and fed to the installation room and thus the efficiency is optimized. In addition, the gentle convection component enables one more flexible use of the HEAzs radiant heaters in the room.

HEAzs – Heating power and heat output

What makes a modern heating system?

Flexibility, speed, efficiency and economy are important characteristics here. Modern heat is created where it is needed, where people are - within a few minutes. Water is a very inert medium that requires a very long heating phase. HEAzs, however, heats precisely, quickly and directly where it is needed. Due to the ultra-flat hybrid construction and the outstanding properties of the sintered ceramics, HEAzs is noticeably warm after approx. 2 minutes, hot after approx. 5 minutes and up to an operating temperature of max. approx. 75 degrees*. The duration of operation can now be set using various control mechanisms. Whether time switch, bus system, temperature or motion sensor and Siemens control - everything is possible. Due to the strong storage effect of the sintered ceramics, HEAzs emits pleasant warmth to the room for approx. 30 minutes even after it has been switched off. HEAzs in the bathroom with timer – a prime example of fast, effective and economical heating. 60 minutes of heat with 30 minutes of energy - activate HEAzs, timer 30 minutes - enjoy 60 minutes of heat thanks to the strong storage effect.

The HEAzs heating circuit HEAzs is characterized by the rapid release of heat after the start and the long storage after switching off. A wide variety of controls are available for optimal heat dissipation in between in terms of performance and duration. Whether a simple timer, temperature control or high-tech Siemens control - everything is possible.

HEAzs - just the right temperature The HEAzs surface temperature is max. approx. 75 degrees at normal indoor temperature. This temperature range ensures strong yet gentle heat emission without the risk of burns. Due to this fact, HEAzs is TÜV approved both as a space heater and as a clothes dryer.

HEAzs can be used as individual panels e.g. can be used in the bathroom of a holiday home, as well as in the group, for heating apartments, floors and houses. Depending on the size, the individual panels have a defined heating output in watts. The size of the room to be heated depends crucially on the heating demand of the room. 1) HEAzs – Plug ’n’ Play – On / Off

HEAzs is always delivered with a power plug and an approx. two meter long cable. HEAzs is fully functional immediately after plugging it in (plug ’n’ play) - there are no more Installation measures required. The toggle switch on the side is also equipped with a signal lamp.

Simply plug in HEAzs - switch on - enjoy the warmth.

BASIC VERSION EQUIPMENT

2) HEAzs - Plug ‚n‘ Play - On / Off + additional option „time relay“

The HEAzs basic version 1) can optionally be equipped with the additional option “time relay”. The timer function of the integrated time relay has a factory setting of 40 minutes on. This means that the operator can only switch the HEAzs panel on and off or optionally to activate a heating phase of 40 minutes by activating the time relay. After 40 min. the panel switches off automatically. The 40-minute presetting of the time relay can be set manually from 10 min. to 24 hours to be changed.

TS10 - thermostat socket (optional)

TS10 is a digital, temperature-dependent socket outlet for the automatic regulation of electrical heating systems (direct heating, towel dryers) in single-family houses, apartments and offices. TS10 offers numerous possibilities in terms of energy savings and ease of use of electrical heating systems.

The HEAzs radiation panels can be regulated with a variety of external controls. Everything is possible, from simple controls to app-controlled Siemens controls. Of course, there is also the option of combining several HEAzs panels for a complete living space heating. Voice control (e.g. Alexa) or connection to an in-house bus system is also possible. As a rule, every installer favors different control units. For this reason, HEAzs can be installed directly next to the shower or bathtub. Installation in the bath or shower or above is not permitted.
